It's been a while since I've done an entry. And hell, it's been even longer since my site has been updated. I appologize for both. I promise you that I have sent updates to my webmistress TODAY so I am hoping that updates to the site will be soon. I will keep you all posted on that. But my schedule is finally updated. The one thing besides these commentaries that I actually do myself and I've been slacking. What can I say, I've been busy....but that's good right? After Thursday, I will only be working one job (instead of TWO) in addition to school, training, and wrestling. So I will have more time to devote to studying and training in the ring. Whoo hoo!
Lot's has happened since my last update. Lord, lots have happened. I am only going to discusss a few things before going on to this weekend that just passed.
Allison Danger and myself teamed up for Chikara's Tag team tourny. We were the only females invited to be in the tournament. Allison and I wrestled Claudio Castignoli and Arik Cannon. They enjoyed getting their hands on us.....but not in that way. They are mean guys and were damn brutal. I took a big beating but I thought that Allison and I would be able to overcome this and win. Well, the guys reverted to cheap tactics and won. Ouch is for sure. I finally got to see the match yesterday and man, I started to re-live all the pain all over again! I have been getting a lot of positive feedback on this match from you guys. I am definitely proud of the match.
Yukon Jack in great! It's a Canadian export. Why can't I find it in Canada then?
There's a Wonder Woman movie in the works.... Who do you think would be the perfect Wonder Woman? I would like to see someone like Angelina Jolie, Eliza Dushku or even Charisma Carpenter play her. I doubt they would even be considered.
I miss having Fox Sports World. Stupid cable company took it away a about a year or so ago....I miss by British soccer, damnit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This weekend, I went to North Carolina for the WCEW/Thundergirls show. This was second time working for this particular promotion down there and it's always a lot of fun and the crowd really gets into it. The drive down was HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I met Allison Danger at the Notorious crib and we headed down early Friday morning. We ended up in non moving traffic. The worst traffic I have ever seen going down there. I mean we would go maybe 1 mile total each 15 minutes. So what do you do when you are stuck in non-moving traffic? If you said scream and curse, you are half right. After the cursing and yelling we played some of my favorite road trip games before we went back to screaming and cursing. The most memorable part of the trip was a stop to Chipotle. Just seeing Allison jump around all excited like a crazy person at the sight of the restuarant would make anyone crack up laughing. Finally late in the evening we made it to Momma & Poppa Danger's home. My bed was there all ready for me as was my favorite animals: Fat Cat, Puppy Cat (the coolest cat who thinks she's a dog), Jenny, & Holly. It was a fun weekend. I even managed to go to shabbat services while Allison went to her place or worship....the gym. And shopping on easter was fun as well.
I won my match down there. I wrestled a girl who used to wrestle under the name Tara, but now wrestles as Pandora. It was great to get to see Brandywine, Little Jeanne, and Rowdy Red again. I believe that once again Little Jeanne gave someone else their first German suplex. She gave me and Ariel our first...not to mention plenty others. This time Rowdy Red was victim.
Did I mention that the show was in a taco bar? Well after the show, the people working there were feeding me free beers. I am loved there! *LOL*
The ride home was LONG just like the ride down. Crazy traffic.
I got home yesterday and didn't get much sleep before I had to be up for an 11 hour work day. (And that's just the ONE job) I am exhausted, but now that the updates are done, I can get some other things done. So I am going to end this commentary with a promise to get back around here more often.
Until next time,
Thanks for your supportand keep suporting Indie Wrestling!
