[H/Cu] Spiegel im Spiegel - Touching the Void
This is my grand tribute to House and Cuddy's misguided, tainted love. It's long and it's painful, and there's no real need to say anything else. Editing-wise, I've chosen black and white and the other pale, pastel coloring which seemed to go well with the delicacy of Arvo Part's 'Spiegel im Spiegel' (Mirror in the Mirror). I think that music applies really well to House and Cuddy: the construction is a back-and-forth of the same melodic pattern refraining itself endlessly, with the cello scales that carry us through the whole composition. The lack of special effects was intended, as it was the choice of excluding many of the well-known scenes between them. I purposedly chose to use some of the less known, maybe less considered moments because I like to look where no one looks, and I wanted this vid to let people see what was behind all the famous, canon Huddy scenes, the build-up of their deep love and the misunderstandings, the desire for each other, the hostility, the guilt and the sorrow that lies in both of them, since they both know that their love is not for this Earth.
