Aahh! Okay, I so sorry this is long overdue, but THANK YOU SO MUCH. There isn't much CA fic to begin with and then I get one with a pairing that I dearly love. That opening paragraph, oh man, I love it to bits. It's such a good introspection bit on Crassus. You've done a lovely job with his POV, the little shifts of his thoughts and the contrast between what he feels and what Max shows- the part where Max blows him a kiss, ahahah. Totally endearing.

And, of course, it was a damn sexy read.

No worries, I'm just so glad you like it. The crazy paranoid part of me was wondering if maybe I totally miscalculated what you wanted and you hated it. I know when I put "gen or more" what I really mean is "I want a shippy fic but am trying not to put pressure on my writer", but not everyone is the same.

I am so glad you liked the characterization, I was actually quite nervous to write this since I haven't spent a lot of time talking these books over with people so I only had the initial impression of my reading to go on.
