O_O Anyone else in the NY area see that storm last night? That was insane, the sky just turned black. And of course since I was at work the storm cut off power to Woodbury Commons.
Power outage during the day = wheee I go home early :)
Power outage at night = Argh we need to stay late to fix the registers, also I cant see a thing :(
And as me and my boss discovered the machine that process the credit card transactions has a small amount of backup power. Does this allow it to do something useful like process a few last transactions? Nope, it allows it to beep constantly, as if the pitch black shop was not enough to convince us that there was an issue. Also the commons security is made of fail. When we finally left the parking lot was completely dark and obviously not to safe. Not a single security car in sight.
