Slashdot-inspired griping
After seeing a beautifully tautologous headline like "Scientists question nature's fundamental laws," I thought I'd be prepared for any level of stupidity in what followed. I was wrong: "Public confidence in the 'constants' of nature may be at an all time low." The fine structure constant, for instance, is polling at approximately 0.73% following a barrage of public relations fiascos.
