Ah, I was thoughtless, didn't I? But I swear that wasn't spoiler! 'Cause Star said nothing. Really. That was just my guess... Anyway, I deleted that comment. Sorry for that.
Well, in answer to your main question the answer is *yes* - probably what you think it is. In an earlier post (locked now, and buried somewhere I can't even find it) I said I wanted to approach everything in this fic that could either be a kink or a squick to someone, or even a contentious plot device. It's not to be confrontational, but the challenge is there, I suppose. Can it be done in terms of the physical universe I've set out for these characters? (I've unlocked a discussion on reproduction I did last year).
And yes again, there are two sequels in the works - one to Orion and one to TWTT.
Haha! Well, thank you for answering my questions and sharing your writing ability!
I think you absolutely succeeded with your challenge. You obviously put a lot of thought into everything you wrote in order to really make it ~work~ and, for me at least, I think that really helped renew the contrived elements. I found myself constantly absorbed, thinking "They did what now? Fascinating! How do they feel about all this?" during parts I would normally--if it were written contentiously--just skip over with a, "Yeah, yeah, whatever..." XD.
=) Mmm, I might have to visit that discussion. Transformer anatomy/reproduction has always been interesting to me. TWTT has actually influenced some elements in my own Transformer writing world--I love the idea of them "smelling" each other. I think I remember seeing that discussion when it was first started, but, well, I was lurking and only had eyes for TWTT itself. XD Usually, I don't reply to anything unless I feel that I have something worth while to say. =)
Goodness me...it killed me knowing that the end of the story was just around the corner, but I couldn't bear the thought of not re-reading the whole thing. I had forgotten so much, but now in the space of a week, I have read the whole thing and am just AWED! I dont even think there are words in the English language to say how amazing this piece of work is. I felt like I was in the fourth dimension!!
Theres so much I want to say, but I don't wanna spoil it for others,so I shall keep it (and my fangirling) to myself :D
It was well worth the wait. I shall be patient until the sequels come out. I'm sure I'll have read this til my eyes have bled by then! ♥
Well, I'm barrelling through the RL stuff as we speak, once it's done I'll reward myself with fic.
It's been so great that I could share this with othr people, you know, I kind of write for myself, but then you realise there are others who share the kinks and little fictional pleasures you do ;-)
I was worried I might cop some flack for our golden "third" in the OT3 but he's been accepted pretty well. I haven't heard a peep!
Well, you know we're glad you shared it with us! Anyway, I STILL haven't figured out what color the fellow is..! I'm still thinking Ursula here, with blue highlights and gold fluids... 0_o;

No matter what unfolds from the ending of this journey, thank you.

Words are poor tools with which to describe that which has been completed.
Nothing I have read in my life has moved me so. Always and forever, now or never, nothing will ever be the same.
Thank you.
