So much to do, so little time...

Well, it's been almost two months. Sorry about that but I really just haven't had the time. Not that I really have it now either but I need a little break and thought I could at least give you guys a little bit of an update as to what is going on in my neck of the woods. Although, I'm not really sure anyone really reads this anymore.

The title pretty much sums up what my life has been like since spring break. I've been so busy with school work and research and everything else. This semester has been so much more stressful and whatnot than last semester was. I classes have kept me busy and taken me away from my research. Now that this week is over now I have three take-home finals to do, one of which incorporates a big lab write-up. Oh the joys. I also have to make my poster for the JNABS conference and make my nested organic matter drift nets. All in the next week. My research starts back up again next Saturday (April 30th). Needless to say things have been pretty hectic around here and don't really show any signs of slowing down until mid-June.

On another note, Evan's transfer to Michigan State is official. He's done down in IL at the end of May. We found a great place to live in Lowell, MI. It's on M21 about half way between Allendale and East Lansing. We'll each be driving about 45 mins each way to school. Our lease there starts in a little over a week (beginning of May) and we both have until the end of May to be out of Grand Haven and Champaign. Kind of bummed to be leaving Grand Haven but Lowell is a nice area too and it will be worth it to live with Evan all the time. Our place in Lowell is huge. It will be nice to have a lot of room. I have to get the utilities over there set up in the next week, I might do that here in a bit. The only problem is I don't really have time to move. I'm so busy with school work in the next week I don't really have time to pack and I only have one weekend in May that I won't be sampling or gone for the conference. I might have some time the first week in May if it doesn't take a real long time to sample my organic matter but I can't depend on that. It's going to be a rushed move. I hate moving, it's such a pain to have to pack and unpack everything.

Well I should probably get to work on my algae final that's due Monday (one question worth 150 pts) and work on the rest of my 'to do' list. I hope the semester is wrapping up well for everyone and all is well.

Ta Ta for now...
