Thea is locked in her room, sitting on her bed, her knees pulled tightly to her chest. Her eyes look bloodshot and puffy, as if she's been crying, because she has been. The expression on her face is a mixture of fear and sadness, and she stares blankly at a spot on her wall, her breathing shallow and her eyes blinking only when they absolutely need to.

After a few moments, an owl arrives at her window. Bewildered, she gets up and accepts the letter and the portkey that's been owled to her by her mother. She uses it and it takes her to her great uncle's house.

Once she's there, she tells her great uncle who she is and why she's there, and after being doted on for a short while, he shows her around and gives her a bedroom where she can stay until Narcissa arrives. Once she's left alone, she gets into bed and pulls the covers up to her chin, trying to fall asleep.
