Weeks of society. Wine and dancing, women and intelligence

Since I quit Red Lobster, my life has been like a thousand times a thousand times better. Even though school is slightly kicking my ass, even though I'm packed, my social life has been relatively ablaze.

Yesterday, after a doctor's appointment, I went KNITTING. Yes, knitting, with two old ladies and one young lady, and we gabbed and ate tea and coffee and the most delicious blueberry scones EVER. And it was sunny and in the rich, RICH district of town, where all the big Tudor houses are (like this lady's) and I had the most fabulous time in the most gorgeous place.

After, I worked for like 6 hours, and then came back and started a game of Risk with Carly, the Nigerian girl Temi, and a couple other students. Me and Carly allied together during a point where we were nearly dead completely, and after we managed to build ourselves up, we took over the whole planet (although the African Queen had to be ceded the southern hemisphere--she was too powerful to fight. Diplomacy brought us so far) anyway it was amazing. THEN I went to midnight breakfast and there were pancakes and boredom so I went home and slept 12 hours.

Today is my last day of studying before finals (and my first day of studying, coincidentally) so I must work hard.
