Been sleepy and reading alot past couple of days, just reading and reading and reading. Have been loving the weather lately, it is all cool and pretty with the clouds billowing about the sky, the sun shining through off and on. My classes are about done for this semester just have to finish up a short essay and a revision on my final paper, hit send, and will be done! My teacher this semester was a most awesome teacher and he really enjoyed my writings and gave me good feedback. I will miss him as a teacher. Sigh.

Went out dancing last night, love the beat of the music and dancing about. There are many I know that go out dancing to flirt, hook up or whatever. I am not interested in that, well okay a litle bit of flirting is okay, but have to keep an eye on guys (and some gals) out there because they can start getting carried away (book distance!)
I feel part of something when I dance to loud bouncy music. I forget I am there I can runaway and feel safe and meld into the air or something. Combine it with a room full of people and I feel integrated and part of something that is not just solely me. I am part of some beautiful movement (I don't know what to call it) for at least a little while. Chatting with freinds though always is bit hard but we did some anyways last night and it was good. :)
Went hiking over the weekend for 6 miles, in the shade and dappled sunlight. Up hills and winding down and around paths in the forest of upper Whiskeytown. One of the guys knew a great deal about the trails and told stories of some of the back history of them. He also knew a lot about plants and was happy to show me some of them as we were walking along. Some of them were a snowball plant, miner's lettuce (edible and textured like watercress although without any "bite" and very subtle flavor), and broad leaved maple trees. He seemed rather passionate about the trees, commenting upon thier leaves form and size and trailing his hand upon them whenever any hung low over the trail. He said those are absolutely gorgeous in the fall, as they turn vibriant yellow, oranges, and YES! even REDS!, without needing very cool evenings to cause them to turn.
Ah, I am getting distracted and am rambling. Must needs to wander away and find some gum and get to tweaking my papers. Yup....uh huh,....indeedy....am....away!
