This is ridiculous. I dont know about anyone else, but if you give a damn about where this country is going or what we have to look forward to then I strongly urge you to take a look at this post by a friend of mine. You dont like what he has to say, thats your choice but as I see it we the american people are getting ass-raped by our president

Nope. The Supreme Court is the end all of Law in this country. If they rule against you, you're fucked. There is NOWHERE ELSE TO GO TO once they have judged against you. Period. You DO, in fact, lose everything.

And it's not if... It happened. My example is true, actually. Currently, the people who lost their homes are trying to use the same law process to imanent domain the land upon which Justice Scalia. >.< See how he likes it when someone does it to HIM, eh?

In the end, liberties are liberties. Take one or another, and it's all the same sin, in my mind. The right to own property stands right next to right to due process and freedom of religion. They're the BIG THREE of rights. Yet... one by one... they're slipping away. We're legislating marrige, a RELIGIOUS institution. We're taking away property rights... and with this bill, due process is right out as well.

Scary... dangerous.

Besides, basically sanctioning murder, and actually doing it, are different things. We sit back and let governments all over the world wholesale slaughter their people for no reason at all, and don't bat an eyelash. If we're going to get into the human rights and freedoms of all people debate, it's far larger than just this country. Still, I very, very much aagree that taking away ANY rights, especially due process, is horrifficly wrong. This country's judicial system is BASED on the WHOLE idea that one is INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty. This law reverses that whole idea... and condemns people before burdan of proof is established. Like domanos... one falls... and it's only a matter of time for the rest to follow after.
