Need release dates for Netflix Watch Instantly? Find 'em here ...
Last week I received a question from Pop reader Lucy C. Seems like a good one for a Tuesday, so here goes:
I was looking at your Cool Stuff on DVD Today segment and wondered if at all possible you could include any new "Watch Instantly'' releases on Netflix? It gets exhausting weeding out what's new to watch instantly on the website, and I can't find a list of what it does release week to week. Not qure if this is info you can obtain, but it'd be a big help.
To help all of you find the latest streaming releases, here are a few good sites I like to check:
- Streaming Soon. Offers a weekly rundown of what's about to stream on Netflix. Bonus: It also gives the average Netflix rating for each title.
- Instant Watcher. "Helps you find good streaming titles from Netflix" in a different, but useful way: by checking to see what films are the most popular in the last 24 hours and which ones are "new and noteworthy." Great if you're at home and don't feel like flipping through pages of Netflix's suggestions.
- Flickchart. Each week the site gives a rundown on which movies are added to Netflix Instant. Bonus: It also details which films are about to expire.
- Feedfliks. I like this site for multiple reasons: One, it lists what titles will be streaming for several weeks ahead. Another, it's also on Twitter, so you can follow to find out what's streaming/expiring soon. Three, you can instantly add a title you like from the site to your queue.
A handful of titles I'll be adding, thanks to info from these sites:
