Adam's 2 month WBV

Nov 04, 2004 14:42

We had our 2 month WBV today, and all is fine. Our "little guy" continues to be not so little at 16 lbs. 8 oz and 25.5 inches tall (both of the charts again). He smiled at the ped quite a bit, not knowing what was next. Three shots, he was brave enough to hold his cry with the first one, but two more were too much to handle. I managed to get him to stop quickly and without nursing, but it was a very sad sight anyway. More shots at the next visit, unfortunately.
He's doing great developmentally, smiling a lot, cooing, and standing while held for a long period of time. He can lift his head when on his tummy all the way now. He loves being on his tummy, and I actually sometimes let him nap that way, but not at night. He's given me some long stretches of sleep at night, about 5 of 7 hours and more already. But only if he is in the car seat, as the cold makes it hard for him to breathe otherwise. Which will be a problem soon, as he is outgrowing his seat. For most part, he is a joy, mostly happy and easy going, and almost always willing to give me a smile during trying times with his sister. He's growing way too fast, though, my last baby will not be a baby much longer. There is nothing newborn about him any more.
