Someone hire me!
So I guess I didn't even get the job I went to an interview for that I was probably going to turn down because it wasn't enough hours anyway.. Makes me sad. I've NEVER had a problem getting a job before. Jordan made a good point, though. He said before I would walk in to a place and hand in my resume and they would like me. Where as almost every job I've applied for says to email them my resume. Hmmm.. Doesn't really help though if that's how they're asking to apply. BALLS.
We've basically figured out we have enough money until the end of September. So if we don't start making more money by the end of August, we'll have to give our notice. Or something else drastic. Luckily we don't have a lease. But I don't want to move! I like Nanaimo! Grrr.. hopefully things will work out. I'm trying to stay positive.
POSITIVE.
My cat caught a bird today. Jordan saw it flapping around in her mouth, poor thing. I went to "clean it up" and she was sitting there looking at it.. It was still breathing and attempting to bite her. I held back Hermione and the bird took off running. It attempted to fly, but didn't make it far, and just laid there with it's wings stretched out. It didn't LOOK hurt.. no blood or anything. Must be something internal. :( It went and hid in the bushes. I checked later and it had it's head under it's wing and it was sleeping. Jordan says it won't make it. So sad, I tried!! Hermione doesn't eat them, she just likes to catch them.. so by letting it go, we both get our way :P If it survives, anyway.
