Let's see if I can write a more light-hearted post than that one.
Today I got sick of seeing the blackberry/prickle bunches taking over the side flower garden. Everyone keeps saying they're blackberry bushes, but I see no where on them where they'd have fruit. I just see prickles. And lots of them. They've grown so much since we moved here. And I don't want Jack run around with a huge prickle bush near by. I chopped all them down. I'll have to go back later and try to dig out the roots. But it looks a lot better already. I don't have any garden gloves, so they're still sitting in a pile on the lawn. Maybe I'll use my oven mits to bring them to the compost later.
Oh, and I found a frog while I was cutting the prickles. I love frogs. I held him and showed Jack. Jack didn't seem to care. lol. I didn't have anything to put him so Jack could watch him for a while. (I thought he might care more if he saw him move around) So I just put him in a tree at the back of the yard in the shade.
Jordan already got me my birthday present. It's really nerdy. I don't even know if I wanna mention it :P Not to mention not many will even understand it. He got us each a server transfer for our World of Warcraft characters so we can player on a different server with a couple friends from Victoria. We like to play at night after Jack goes to bed. I just really couldn't think of anything else I wanted for my birthday. Though I've thought of a couple things since then lol.
For my birthday, we're going out to a restaurant with a few friends. Perhaps go out to bar after, though probably not. It's Sunday, so we won't have Jack that night. Should probably used my free time to do it while I can ;) Though a few drinks with dinner and friends will probably be enough.
