So, remember that Hoodie I posted on here a couple days ago that I said I wanted? I decided to buy it. It's expensive, but the lady is a seamstress and it looks really well made.. and I'll wear it all the time! :D It'll be my last extravagant purchase for a LONG time. Paying rent sucks! lol.
Hmm.. I seem to have forgotten to write about Monday. For my birthday, Jordan bought me a giant spa package. It was really expensive, and it was really sweet of him. The appointment was for last Monday. I was suppose to allow five hours.. it ended up being about six-six and a half hours. And it was at a fancy resort in Parksville called Tigh-Ni-Mara. It started off with a body wrap, then a massage (which hurts a lot! I was not expecting that!), then a facial (which I fell asleep during haha), then a manicure and pedicure.. at the same time :O Not to mention, just before my facial, I got to sit in the little restauranty area and have endless tapas (basically appetizers). Mmmm.. That was almost the best part of the day lol. I didn't know what to choose.. mostly because a lot of things I had no idea what they were! I said that I think I'll pretty much like anything on the menu except for anything with seafood. The guy asked if I just wanted him to randomly bring me out stuff. YES!! It was awesome. As soon as I was done a dish (sometimes before), he'd be bringing me something new. So awesome. Only problem was that I was a little late getting to the endless tapas part, so I only had 45 minutes or so to have as many as I could lol. And I could have had more.. It sounds like I'm a pig, but really, each thing was only a few bites each. Jordan and I are totally going to go there and get the endless tapas and maybe a massage or something someday :) I was so tired by the end of the day. Everything makes you so relaxed and just exhausted lol. It seems weird, but it's true. I just wanted to go home and sleep!
Yesterday I went to Courtenay for a bit to visit mom, and to see my cousins from out of town. It was my cousin and her husband.. and their five children! lol. Their family is crazy. Only one child is the husband's. Only three are my cousin's.. And the other two are adopted. And it's funny, too, because they all look totally different. Crazy. I can't imagine looking after that many kids at once, all the time. Hopefully I'll get to see them before they leave.
They are working on the roof over our landlord's place yesterday and today. It's really noisy. I'm thankful that my baby isn't a light sleeper! Although he did get woken during his first nap, but went back to sleep after I gave him back his soother. I hope they finish our deck when they are done with the roof.
