Day trip
On Friday, I decided I wanted to get out of the house.
So, Jack and I went to work with Jordan, and then Jack and I drove to Victoria! We stopped at Auntie Lynsey's house and changed and fed him. We stopped by her boyfriend's house so he and his son could meet Jack. That was a quick visit, though, because we were meeting people for lunch!
We met Alanna and Justin at Montana's. Jessica came a bit later. We didn't think she was coming lol. Lunch was good. Although, a couple people didn't enjoy their food. Which is unfortunate. I like their food. They did change their menu recently, though, so maybe that's the reason. Jack started getting a little cranky near the end. That was my and Lynsey's cue to leave!
We figured he would fall asleep in the car, but he didn't. One of us got the idea to go to the mall. They have strollers that will hold a car seat, so we did that. Jack was fascinated with everything he saw, but I knew he was tired. So, I put his hat over his eyes a little, and within ten seconds, he was out lol. Lynsey and I walked around and looked at stuff. She bought Jack a pair of super cute shoes. They are black and have skull and cross bones on them :) I bought Jack a Canucks jersey. It's quite big. He won't be able to fit it until he's about 2-3 years old. BUT, I'm getting his last name and Willie Mitchell's number put on the back :) Lynsey's picking it up for me, because they don't do it in one day. And then she's going to mail it to me. Woot! I'm excited :)
Jack and I drove back to Parksville just in time for Jordan to get off work. And then we all drove home.. and we're all in bed by 9:30pm lol.
