A/N: For previous Queen eponine119, who requested OTPs and anti-OTPs. I wanted a crazy OTP and this came out... but in the end it's not really crazy and not really a pairing... I hope you enjoy it ayway! Also, for queen joyyjpg that wanted Miles. Hope you don't mind sharing!

They watched Chang hurry away to start the evacuation.
Then Miles exploded. "How the hell you don’t know who was President in 1977?" he hissed.
"Dude. I remember the important bits." Hurley seemed unconcerned.
Miles shook his head. "Yeah. Like when Star Wars came out."
"And who recorded the message for the Voyager 1".
"Huh?"
"You know the shit", Hurley air-quoted, "this is a present from a small, distant world… blah blah blah".
Miles stared at Hurley, finally putting the pieces together.
"You mean you knew the answer?"
Hurley simply shrugged. "I told you. Luke got his hand cut off."

The Voyager 1 spacecraft is a robotic space probe of the outer Solar System and beyond, launched September 5, 1977.
It contained the Golden Record, a phonograph record with sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth. Jimmy Carter, President of the USA at the time, recorded a message, which included the words Hurley quoted.
