My mom asked me to housesit the farm while she and my step-dad took grandma and grandpa down to Cinicy for Marnie reunion. So, I have the huge house full with animals! It wasn't that bad! I thought it may be too hard taking care of the horses and goat, but they gave me easy time!
Daisy, the family dog, is so good dog! She listens, but does do the begging very well! She hasn't touched her food because my old roomate and I kept giving her our food! OOPS!
Pudge and Nike, our used to be inside the house cats, but now are living outside, are crazy! They really wants to get in the house but it's not allowed anymore because they peed on the couch, so my mom can't let that happen again. So, when I came out with cat food, they came running to the porch crying and crying. I feel bad for them but understand my mom's concerns.
Bella and Tiger, the barn cats, I normally don't see much of Tiger because he's a scaredy-cat! Bella was all purred up. She loves to be pet at all times.
Cloud. the white horse with sky blue eyes, really, we do have that kind of horse where every girl fanstasys having a knight in shining armour on white horse. We have that kind of horse! He's not very good with people, because when my mom rescues him, he came from an abused home. He doesn't trust anyone except my mom. My mom has been working so long with him and he LOVES my mom.
Maggie. Our dwarf horse, she's a sweetheart! She is a baby, and definitely controls the barn! If Cloud pisses her off, she will use her two back feet and kick him the heck out of it! Cloud respects her very well!
Blinks. Our fat think-a-like a dog! He is a goat, a BIG goat! He actually thinks he's a dog! I am not sure if you remember my old dog, Cobbester (used to name him Fido) during my second year in college, I didn't have him too long because I was moving to an apartment that doesnt accept dogs. He was yellow lab. Anyways, when Cobbester was a puppy and we got the goat and he was so tiny that we had to feed him bottle of milk. They were best friends, they go everywhere together. One time, my mom was sleeping and heard something going on the little shed where the goat was staying in, she heard crying and screaming. We had a problem with coyotes up here. She thought that coyotes got goat, so she walked outside, Cobbester got outside to the shed and checked it out, then ran out into the corn field. My mom tried to get him back but he wouldn't come back. So, she waited for an hour, and heard something clicking, clicking, so she looked outside in the corn field and saw Cobbester bringing Blinks back, Blinks had a broken chain and Cobbester had it in his mouth and brought him back. Both are inspiration!!! After Cobbester had cancer at 2 years old, he had bone disease that we can't afford getting multiple surgery for him, so we decided to let him go. Blinks knew there was something wrong and was very depressed for like 2 months. He really misses his best friend!
That's all the critters I have been taking care of this whole weekend, it's fun to be a farm girl for the weekend, but it's not for me except having dogs and cats as pets!
