Tonight the moon is closer than it's ever been.
I stand on the edge of the canyon,
Yearning for a glimpse in the midst of frogs serenading.
Ethereal vapors block the celestial light,
Testing my patience as they drag lazily by.
Then it appears, so close,
A stronger gravity pulling on my soul,
Tugging the waters of emotion up into raging waves.
I feel myself drawn towards heaven in this way,
By the rhythmic and heavenly harmony,
Grounded only by the weight of earthly pleasures.
