Smallville In 20 Pictures Picspam
First at all, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE, hope you have an amazing year. I saw a lot of people doing this project and I loved the idea so decided to make one too. Credit of the idea goes to jeannev
Explanation of why I chose the pictures:
1. WELCOME TO SMALLVILLE. THE METEOR CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!.
With that kind of message, we see that Smallville it is NOT just a regular small town or a basic tv show.
2. THE KENTS AND THE LUTHORS.
This families are so important in the show, and also we can see the contrast between them almost in every episode I think showing us why Clark is all about Love and Hope, and why Lex is all about Power, Revenge and Evilness.
3. CHLOE KNOWS THE SECRET.
I think this is one of the most important moments of Smallville, because here is when Chloe becomes one of the secret keepers and starts knowing more about Clark and becoming his best friend helping him protect his secret. Also she is the one that has last more (and also Martha) knowing the secret without dying, walking away or becoming crazy because of the secret.
4. CLARK & LEX.
Their relationship was one of the most important, if not, the most, in Smallville. They become friends since the beginning and we saw the path of that friendship. Any way, we all knew that at the end they will become nemesis.
5. DEATH & WHAT THE HELL MOMENTS?!
Like in real life, death occurs also in Smallville. Some are fakes for a few minutes, but others are real. We have seen people dying: Jonathan, Jimmy, Lex (?), Jor-El and Lara, Alicia, Lionel, Jason, Whitney, Davis, Lana's parents, random freak of the week... any way, a lot of people. Some deaths are really really sad, others... not so much.
Also, onne of the things that Smallville gives us a lot are '"What the hell?!" moments', like Jimmy's death >:( or that he wasn't the real Jimmy after all, but i think is one of the things that make Smallville so special: You never know what is coming next.
6. "911?"
But Smallville also has a lot of funny episodes, moments and quotes. For example: I was laughing a lot with the episode Hex. One of the best of season 8.
7. CLARK & LANA'S FAREWELL.
Like it or not, Clark and Lana's relationship was a big part of the show, and when I say big, I mean 7-8 years. For me, this is one of the saddest scenes, Tom and Kristin's performances were amazing, I could actually feel the pain that Lana and Clark had in that moment. I know a lot didn't like how it ended but I think this scene was beautiful.
8. LEX KILLING HIS FATHER.
Here was the moment that Lex, in my opinion, completed his destiny of becoming truly EVIL, he always tried to fight his evil interior, but at the end, he lost, thing that we always knew that will happen.
9. CLARK IN THE PHONEBOOTH.
I like that scene a lot, and not only because it is ICONIC, also because I love some shirtless Clark. Always a good thing to watch ;D.
10. "HE IS BACK"
We never know how or when but some villains always manage to come back, even from death. I like to seeing them back because they bring new evil plans, but I don't know why they bother because at the end Clark will always win the battle ;), duh.
11. DARKNESS & LIGHT.
Definitely I love these two, so I wanted to include them in the picspam. But more than that, for me, this shot represents that in Smallville, where is darkness there is also light and hope. Superm- I mean the Blur's symbol represents the hope and light and Tess & Zod the darkness.
12. LEX FINDS THE TRUTH ABOUT CLARK.
So many years of obsession come to an end. Lex was always right about Clark that he was keeping a secret, and it's sad because Lex always loved Clark like a brother. A really big moment in Smallville.
13. LOIS & CLARK DUNK SCENE
Just love this scene, I love those two. Also who doesn't love a wet Clark and that beautiful smile:)?
14. FIRST MEETING
Even that Clark wasn't himself, I love their first meeting, I mean, how many people can say that they met the love of their life in a cornfield with one of them naked, hitten by a lightning and amnesia?
15. LOIS & CLARK ZOMBIE HUG IN THE RAIN
One word: BEAUTIFUL. I love this scene, everything was so perfect: the light, the score, CLOIS :). I think that in that moment Clark realized how much he cares about Lois.
16. CHLOE AND CLARK FRIENDSHIP
Their friendship is a big part of the show, also one of the most honest - well, that has changed recently. But I love that they would do whatever it takes to make the other one save because they care a lot about each other.
17. CHLO-LO
They show us how important is family in our lifes. They love each other as sisters. I just love how they protect each other, Lois protected Chloe in Devoted and Chloe protected Lois in Bulletproof.
18. LOIS AND CLARK KISS
I just wanted to include a kiss of my favorite couple :D.
19. ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL CLOIS SCENE
Hehe, I just wanted to say that I had to put this, season 9 has been so awesome that I chose a lot of caps of this season. And this, this is another wonderful scene. Their expressions said a lot without words.
20. HERO
Smallville can have a lot of relationships, villains, meteor freaks, victims, retcons, plotholes... But the most important thing is that is about Clark becoming the greatest superhero ever... and that is why I love season 9 so much ♥.
