Reading
I was trying to get through the first bit of required reading for my Holocaust class today. I just couln't do it.
I managed nine pages, three of which were pictures, before I literally could not process anything more. When I go numb to that kind of cruelty, I have to stop, put the book down and come back to it later.
The Holocaust is not something that I can read about with indifference. I can't do it. To feel nothing as I read about what these people, these humans, endured would be an insult to their memory. I refuse to do it.
