Why is it that our memory is good enough to retain the least triviality that happens to us, and yet not good enough to recollect how often we have told it to the same person?

so...
I'm single again. I moved into Salida (because I was living out side of town) into this really cute little house. I've really been loving it. I haven't really done a whole lot except work, makin hula hoops and smokin lot- plus my liver is probably entirely made of alcohol by now. There's not much to do here besides go to the bar. And yet I really love this little town. I've made a lot of friends in the last year and I'm doing well at my job. While I miss the Springs and Manitou, I'm always happy to come back to Salida after visiting. My kitties and I are really happy living here, and it's been such a big relief to finally be out of the relationship I was in.
I hope everyone had a good Halloween, and remember that you are welcome to come and ski with me anytime up here this winter! I live 20 minutes away from Monarch.
