New Dress! (in 6 days!)
I haven't really been able to update as I went along on this, but it is as finished as it is going to get before I wear it tomorrow, so I thought that I would share it. It is still missing all of the bottom and underskirt trim, I will have to do that later.

I am finishing up the hat now, and hopefully I will have pictures of everything all together tomorrow for the full effect!
I did also promise to post pictures of what I picked up in LA while I was there - WOW I had a great time, fortunately I got to go with several people who had been before. I did have a tough time finding silk taffeta, but I finally did and am really happy with what I got (the brocade was the part that I brought, I only have about a yard of it, but it is really pretty):
