More crazy co-worker ranting
Ok, I nearly let myself go today at work but I reeled it back. Someone brought up GM because the newspaper was out with all of the cuts being made. My co-worker said that GM was going bankrupt because they pay their factory workers too much in salaries and benefits. She said she did accounting at some point at GM and she couldnt believe what they made, as in the average factory worker because I did clarify this to make sure I understood her. Ok eric's dad retired from Gm and they are getting by alright but they also are savers, they are hardly in the lap of luxury. Another co-worker chimed in about what are they going to do now since they dont have any skills. Seriously I think these people would be happy to see thousands of americans slaving away for minumum wage (which is not enough to live on) while they enjoy their nice lives because they are more "skilled". Gm is in trouble because they have not kept up in the market of what people want to buy, not because theyve been paying people enough to actually live on. maybe i am just taking it personally because of eric's dad, what do you think?
