missing child support...
I called his cell phone, his work phone, sent emails to both work and personal accounts and nothing. I dont know what to do.
I started this morning by calling the state of florida child support helpline just to inquire how long it takes for them to do anything about the missing payment. I was informed that since the income deduction order was not processed by his job they would re-fax it there today. The company he works for then has 30 days to send the first payment. IF the payment is not received 30 days from today a bench warrant will be issued for his arrest and a court date will be made once he is picked up by the police. I really hate that it has to come down to this, but if he wont have anything to do with his daughter the least he can do is pay his support for her well-being.
I never understood the phrase "taking food out of your childs mouth" until just recently. It seemed so much easier when she was smaller and it was just me buying all of her needs... she is growing every day, needs new clothes, shoes and food of course. I can only provide so much sadly. I hope with the decision to go back to school I can find a MUCH better job and never have to worry about where the money is going to come from anymore.
