Dare 16 - Theme me up!
For this month's dare at maxis_taste I chose an indigenous/native theme and used pretty much all castaway CC for the makeovers. (I feel like cheating, tho, because it was too easy like that XD)
And the victims are ...
The Ottomas Clan family :D
They live in the jungle in a small settlement with 3 huts and everything they need to survive -- plus one dog and two birds!
The main building is for the grownups (Samantha and Peter) with the smaller children. (the twins, Josh and Fiona -- don't laugh at the names, it was the first thing that came to mind lol).
Next are the older kids, (Davis, Sharla, who's a teen here, and Tommy, who's a kid already).
And the elder (Dora) has a cozy space for herself, at the other side of the lot. (The dog is very overprotective of her, btw :P)
In a typical day everyone has their chores and responsibilities, except for the smaller ones who can spend their time simply playing.
Tommy is in charge of the animals,
and the men divide the harder jobs between them.
Like most teenagers, David doesn't like to spend all day long working, but his father doesn't give him much choice.
Is it fishing or harvesting, one or the other, so he chooses the first, because at least...
he doesn't have to break his back, crouching and carrying heavy basket with product.
His sister, Sharla, isn't too fond of helping her mother with the rest of the chores either,
specially doing the laundry, but there's always too much to do and not enough time to complain.
And finally, feeding the family is Dora's job.
Shes not as strong and active anymore, but still finds great pleasure in preparing their daily meals .
As for the pets ...
One of the bids like to fly around the lot freely,
but unfortunately the other one is way too afraid of the dog to even leave its cage XD
