Newark

Of course things would not turn out as expected as I traveled home from Oxford Friday morning. The first leg of my journey home went very smoothly. We landed in the Newark airport half an hour ahead of schedule, and got though customs with no problems. After bidding farewell to one of my friends, my other friend and I made our way to put our luggage back on the plane. Here, we found out all flights to Pittsburgh (mine) and Buffalo (hers) had been cancelled for the rest of the night due to the weather. We almost stayed with one of my friends nearby, but the pickup would take too long due to traffic from new york city and we would only have a few hours at his house after driving a few hours to get there, so it would not be worth it. We camped out below the security area for awhile because they would not let us in since our flights are not until later this morning. My flight will now theoretically be leaving at 10:35am. After I get back and get cleaned up, we will be heading to Kennywood, a local theme park, for a fun but tiring day of roller coasters, games, and Potato Patch fries.
