Ok, so classes start tomorrow so I might as well update before I get bogged down with work (which by the way I already am with about 60 pages of reading to do today)
So yesterday was orientation which was interesting. We went to a muesum for the opening ceremony where a government speaker gave us a lecture on Danish customs and the shortcomings of the US government. After that I had to take a crash course in Danish, which I hardly remember. Practice was limited to about 20 minutes so I will have to practice later with ca or someone else in the program. After the lessons it was on to the books for my class which were divided into binders that I can't highlight or underline because I have to return them. Then I came home and slept! This damn jetlag sucks!
Today I went with DIS to Roskilde (I have no idea how to spell it) and went to an archeological site where people try to live as if they were in certain periods of the past. Supposedly its a popular vacation for Danish Families! It seems cool though, just worrying about making food. And that's all you do all day, make food and hang with your family. After that we went to the Catherdral where most of the Danish Kings and Queens are buried. Pics are as follows:
