⇒Biography
Coming from a very traditional Scottish family, Alec was the youngest of three children, born to Catherine and Jude Havelock in Glasgow, Scotland, where he was born and raised. He had a very normal childhood, well, as normal as it could get. As soon as they had gotten old enough, Alec and his older brother Quinn were expected to hold their responsibilities as men of the household.
School had always been a bit of a passion for Alec, always had been a very bright and peppy young boy, and mostly for his love of theater and musicals. He had been in a number of plays during his school years, some he had lead role in, and others he was more than happy to be in. As a child, he was very confident and outgoing, but often got into trouble for the rebellious ideas he had always seemed to get. Picking on boys of the same age, most often thought that he did it just because he didn't like them, but rather, it was quite the opposite. Most of his closer friends were all female, having gotten along better with them and their interests. He would also use his his boyish looks to persuade and manipulate those around him (even now). That was at school.
At home, he was raised to behave like some kind of gentleman, and he had, he was a much different person at home than he was at school. Him and his older brother Quinn had been very close as they were growing up, and Quinn had taught Alec many things, guiding him as much as he could as older brothers should.
Soon, he began to work, finding that his parents weren't very happy about him leaving his home to go out for school, he had to pay for most of his tuition by himself, although he did find a way (being very persuasive as he is) to have his parents to help him out. Finishing secondary school, he was ecstatic to find that he had been accepted into Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He knew that his family wasn't very keen on the move, as his sister had just gone to London herself, a few years prior. He had left one night on the bus, heading to London as he didn't want to cause such a fuss. He hadn't even said goodbye to his brother.
Guildhall, could have been possibly been the most important part of Alec's life. Having learned so much from the school and from his teachers and peers, he grew into a brilliant actor, and also learned to sing. Eventually, Alec had gotten noticed and pretty soon, had become a very successful actor.
When he had come home one summer for holidays, just after he had turned nineteen, he had finally come out of the closet. Being only a little frightened of the outcome, Alec left just two days after. His father hadn't taken the news very well at all, and had yelled profanities at him, and his mother had been reduced to sobs. He knew that his brother Quinn hadn't taken it well either, and from then on, the two brothers had indefinitely grown apart because of it. He left home, feeling bitter and ashamed, not because he was a queer, but because his family hadn't been so open minded as he thought they'd be.
Not long after, Alec had met the first love of his life, and had opened up to him in ways that he hadn't to anyone. He had been comforted and loved, but as the months grew on, he found that he was soon trapped in an abusive relationship. His boyfriend was manipulative and possessive, often wanting to keep Alec on a short leash. Because of this, Alec decided that it would be best that his sexuality was to be kept hidden from the general public. He has not found a partner so far that had stuck with him, of course there were flings and one night stands, but they never lasted long enough to become anything more.

Alec is a very pleasant person to be around, he is very nice when meeting someone new, and is often quite bubbly. He also has a sort of... lewd humor, and is often described as being a walking sexual innuendo. He is very strong willed, determined and confident. On his off days, he can be fairly snappy, but isn't everyone? Just like his other siblings, he has very high standards and expectations of himself - especially when acting. When on a job, he works extremely hard and rehearses constantly. His work is his life.
He finds that he gets along better with females than he does with males, mainly because he is a lot more like them, on so many levels.
