Five Years Later
To all those who still frequent Livejournal (and even to those who are long gone):
I find it fascinating to be stumbling around the ruins of what used to be such a hub of activity. I'm happy we were all able to connect again after WC:RH and I think we grew closer than we ever did in the game. Reading my old entries, there was never a shortage of support when I needed advice and now being older and wiser, see how you all provided kind words for the person I was at the time. I very much appreciated it then as I do now.
Despite the ups and downs, I can tell that I really enjoyed logging in to "see" everyone. It makes me wish we were all in the same area or at least were able to get together to hang out and have a drink.
I see many profiles are abandoned, like my own, but perhaps one of you might come across this at some point in rediscovering your journal. It's unfortunate that some have deleted their accounts though I hope if the day came we could find those people again.
Thank you everyone for the time we shared way back when.
To the UBW'ers, I thank you for your friendships, insights and all the help and good times over those years.
To those I met through Livejournal, I'm flattered you were interested in being my friend on some level and thank you for sharing a little piece of your world with me. It was fun getting to know you.
If I get the opportunity to get in contact with you, I look forward to hearing about what you've been up to and hope life is treating you well. To those I may not get the chance to talk to ever again, I hope you have a great life wherever you've gone and wherever you go.
