spring break
I was hoping to spend this Friday and Saturday at Amhest as the WPI men's basketball team attempted to reach the Div. 3 Final Four. However thanks to a 19-point loss to Utica, that will not be happening.
The bad part about the loss was that we were the better team, however we just got outplayed that night. We were forcing bad shots, fouling too much, not getting transition points, not establishing the post and getting a consistant flow of 3 pointers. I watch Utica play Thursday and I saw a team that was small, atheltic and play at times sloppy. I figured that we cold use our big guys correctly we would have a chance, however that was not the case because Utica was ready. Whenever we put the fed the ball inside, they would collpase the ball to deny a basket and they were quick enough to get back in position once the ball left the post in order to prevent an easy three.
Anyway, 2 hours of 24 later today and some B'water State partying later this week should help relieve some tension from Saturday's loss.
Crash won Best Picture, which my mom and I were hoping for. Also, I watched the Suns-Mavs game today and I think that passing is a lost art bbecause there was a ton of it going on in this game, which seemed foregin because I'm used to watching iso-offense in the NBA.
