I used E-6OOO and good old velcro. I glued the velcro on the shoulder pieces ( I added a lot)and glued the adjacent velcro onto the shoulder of my pleather bodice so that it can stick. The gauntlets I tok my grommet puncher ( the one you can get at Joanns and Handcocks)and punched holes into the sides of the gauntlets. Then I took large grommots and glued them intot the hole (I'm still grasping the art attaching grommots)I let it dry and then I used shoe laces instead of ribbon ( you can use ribbon but I have a fear of it breaking backstage since "Murphy's Law is the law I dread" to tie my grantlest to my wrist. I'll post pics of the velcro on my bodice next time so you can get a better visual.
