Lee's meister, though Lee has no idea how or why they're compatible. It's probably not possible for two people to be any more different, and their shared history makes for a unique dynamic. After all, Gaara did nearly cripple Lee. And tried to kill him. Twice. Lee doesn't hold a grudge, though, and views Gaara as his most reliable ally in Death City. He's the first person Lee saw from home, and they've been sticking together. The lack of the sand and Gaara's fail taijutsu abilities have Lee teaching him how people born without an ultimate defense survive. Unfortunately, Gaara seems set on saying no to the spandex.

Lee isn't certain how to feel about Sasuke. The age difference is unsettling, and what conversations they've had make it clear that Sasuke's priorities are the same as they were back home. Lee feels that they need to work together for the war effort, but he's very aware that Sasuke is both a traitor and a missing-nin. The decision of the Konoha 11 to take Sasuke out personally weighs in Lee's mind.

Naruto is the same as always, even if there's an age difference there. His bright nature and loudness make him hard to miss, and his antics often trigger laughter. And the desire to join in. Lee totally agrees with him on the stairs.

Lee encountered Dr. Stein only briefly, when he came to check on Kaowru. Would likely seek him out in the case of medical emergency. Vaguely remembers something in Rise's information posts about Stein, but can't put his finger on what.

Lee's still slightly wary about the situation as a whole, but views Spirit as a reliable source of information on the world and as someone that he could go to for advice. Respect is building. Refers to him without an honorific due to a misunderstanding in their initial meeting (in an attempt to be polite and not insist on formality when being urged not to), something that Lee feels awkward over.

He feels guilty over failing to catch Kaworu and for adding insult to injury (or injury to injury) by falling on him as a staff. Lee fully plans to visit Kaworu in the hospital, and will probably try and teach him how to properly take a fall.
