I chose anime as topic just so I could include Macross ;) (it was a TOP 20 challenge, but we could choose any topic. I really love this type of things!)

And did you liked the series at the end or not? You just told me your SO forced you to watch it! XD

I DID like it. I wanted to watch Robotech Masters, but DH didn't like that one so I haven't seen it all through.
In fact, he's going off at me right now about how he'd probably like it now as an adult, but that little boy in him will always prefer the Macross series.

Well, to be fair, the Masters wasn't too good. I liked the Next (third) Generation, probably more than the second, but the first one it's the best.

And if you guys haven't seen the rest of the Macross series, I'd really recommend Frontier (the lasts one). It's really good. Both my hubby and I liked it a lot (and he's a hard die fan of the first Robotech too).

*gasp* no Fullmetal Alchemist? shame on you ;)

There's a lot of animes I haven't heard of on this list, so I will check them out! (whenever I get the time)

I really haven't seen many animes in my days, but FMA is highly recommended. (the old version, I did not like the new version that's called 'Brotherhood' as much) I did enjoy Mai HiMe as well, and Bleach. :)

I've read/heard a lot of Fullmetal Alchemist, but haven't seen it yet. Thanks for the other recommendations too. I'll look for them.
