Until not long ago, my answer to this would have been DATA, blindly ...
however today I have to go with Rodney Mckay in first place.
Yep, you heard me right... RODNEY MCKAY!!!! And the more I watch SGA the more I like him .... <3 <3
I also love Daniel Jackson,
and John Crichton a lot too,
but Rodney ........ he just took over my top 1 with his awesomeness!

And for females there's only one name ... Claudia Black! :P

Both absolutely awesome and probably among the best scifi female characters ever!! <3 <3
