Its the End of the World as We Know it.
This is starting to become a dream journal again, but I'm down for that.
The first thing I remember is taking a walk by the docks, which is also next to ECMC, one of the local hospitals. The next thing I know, the world has gone through some horrible disaster, and at first glance it seems like absolutely nothing as survived. I end up with a small group of survivors in a forest area, and we start following a herd of elephants. In our wanderings, led by an old woman,we come across those docks from earlier. Last time I was there is was quiet and was a fun path around the lake, but this time it is filled with refugees and has a line to try to get in. I make it in with two friends, my friend Pat and this girl from UB that I never learned the name of. We head to the end of the docks where is connects with another side of town, but I end up turning back by myself for some reason.
I have a few more adventures in the docks and the area right outside of it, (including some sort of power struggle between the woman who runs it ans a magician who escapes bing murdered) then decide to go through the area again to explore the other side. I end up getting past the docks to a railroad path with no tracks, and see Rob there.We walk down this path until we come across a building that last time had blocked my path. This time there is a door so the two of us, joined by his girlfriend, head inside and up a set of stairs. When we get up there there are a bunch of cats, both live ones and stuffed/doll cats, and a bunch of people playing with them. I hang out there for a while and then head back.
I make it to my parents house,where I meet up with someone though I can'r remember who. The two of us then walk down the street and I see that one of the houses on the block has a bunch of people I know hanging out together in it, some from college, some from high school and some from church which makes it strange. We again head for the docks.
After getting past security, which is easy since the bouncer has seen me so many times, and I beging to head to the lands past the docks again.as I'm walking by, these two older guys tell me that I should be careful and not try to keep leaving to explore as it is dangerous out there. I keep on going anyways,and after passing the abandoned train tracks I end up in a packed city area that is very dark and grimy. From what I can tell, this is a more lawless area, and getting mugged or killed seems like a real possibility. I then see that UB girl who runs to me and gives me a hug. I apologize for leaving them, then ask where Pat is. She said that he was captured and in the basement of the building next to us, but its very dangerous and she doesn't even know if he's alive still. We walk for a bit trying to figure out if its worth it trying to break in to save him, especially if its too late. He comes out on his own though with another girl with him, as if he wasn't just in danger. He tells the new girl and the UB girl that they should both date him, and when I protest because thats greedy another girl puts her arm around me and said that I was her choice.
I Then wake up, because my house mates are loud. Damn bastards! There was so much left in that dream to explore
