I can't put off updating about this any longer. This is completely insane. I don't know how to describe vowel sounds in terms of long/short, but you know how reasonable people pronounce the 'a' in 'pasta' and 'Mazda' like the 'o' in Tom? They don't in Ontario! At least not on TV. Mazda commercials pronounce Mazda wrong. It's so hard to listen to. Let's see, what else. 'Islam' too.

They don't even pronounce 'Matt' as 'Mott!' People keep saying my name, and I can't recognize it!
