I am having fun at Guelph. Last night was a pep rally and we all danced and had fun. Being a fun time, it was naturally also a great time. Everything seems so liberal up here, but in an unspoken way. Like they just take it for granted. I saw T2 completely uncensored on TV at my hotel. I think it was just a normal channel, too, because there were commercials and everything.

There was a section meeting so we could meet the RA for floors 9 and 10. During the ice breaker, two of the people mentioned having posters prominently displayed in their high school explaining what to do if you encounter a bear. I want to stay here forever.

Everybody up here has MSN and calls soda "pop." I can deal with the MSN since I already have Hotmail; this pop business is tougher. I have vowed to myself at various points in my life never to start calling it "pop." I guess the solution is to give up drinking soda (I only drink Diet Coke anyway), or to always ask for Diet Coke by name. Seeing as this is what I do anyway, it shouldn't be too hard. Nevertheless, "pop." A dark cloud in an otherwise perfect Canadian sky.

Edit: In an almost supernatural turn of events, here is the PBF for my first day technically attending Guelph: COP$
