Katy and I got home a little while ago from watching Hellboy. It was actually a very entertaining movie. I would have like to have seen the X-Files, but that show was in its heyday when Katy was very little. I doubt she even remembers it. Still, Hellboy was good entertainment and making my kid happy makes me happy too.
Hellboy gave me an earworm. Specifically, Can't Smile Without You as performed by Barry Mannilow. If you want to know why that song was in the movie, you'll just have to go see it and find out for your self. It was one of the funnier moments of the movie.
And just so I'm not the only one....
Lisa and Mary are trying to get back to Tennessee. They called from the plane because its departure was delayed after they had begun taxiing. They are flying to Nashville through Charlotte, NC but that airport was temporarily closed due to thunderstorms. She sent me a text message just before I sat down to post to say they were finally getting ready to leave. I know they are both eager to get back home. I'm eager for Lisa to get back here because the house is a mess and I need her to get it cleaned up for me. (Easy ladies, that's just a joke.)
