(no subject)
What a beautiful day today! It's around 80 degrees right now and the sky is very nearly cloudless. There's a light breeze. I decided to attempt a power nap in the truck, but I was only marginally successful. I dozed a little bit, but the breeze isn't quite strong enough to keep the inside of the truck comfortable. That's too bad, because I'm very sleepy right now. I may have to have the rare afternoon cup of coffee to make it through the day.
The reason I'm so tired is because I got up shortly after 5 this morning to get Mary up. She's having an EEG and they only wanted her to have about 4 hours of sleep. I had trouble going to sleep last night, so I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked.
In order to give her a reason to get up so early, last night we downloaded a 14 day trial of Lord of the Rings Online. This morning, we got up, created a couple of hunters, and played for about an hour before they brought the game down for weekly maintenance. She really seemed to enjoy it. (Okay, I did, too!)
Obviously, I've caved in and posted from work. I hope this decision won't somehow come back to bite me, but I think it's the only way I'll ever get back to posting on a regular basis.
