My eldest offspring is winging her way eastward as I type. In fact, according to FlightAware.com, she is over Idaho right now*. I'll be keeping track of her throughout the afternoon.
There have been a couple of problems this morning and I've helped out on a couple of them. However, it's weird for me to not be the one taking point on getting them fixed. I know that's the way it has to be, but I'm already feeling a bit disconnected and that makes me a little sad. Change happens, but I don't always have to like it. I'm going to miss this place and these people even if I'll be glad to get rid of some of the IT-related baggage I've accumulated over almost 5 years of being here.
