Father's Day
This will be a quick Father's Day recap. We did the church thing in the morning. It was tough to get up, though, because we'd only had a few hours sleep. We had gone to a festival at the local winery on Saturday night and didn't get home until a little after 2:00 AM and didn't get to sleep until after 3:00. *wink, wink, nudge nudge* So anyway, Sunday morning was a little bit of a struggle to get through.
We did a few errands and then came home. I took a nice, long nap. In the evening, Calliope and I stopped by my parent's house so I could drop off a card for my father (he was at work) and then went up to Books-A-Million. When we came back home, I watched some TV then started getting ready for bed.
Actually, about the time I started getting ready for bed, Katy (whom I thought was already asleep) came out and gave me a drawing she'd made me for Father's Day. It's of a tiger with a cub. (I think tiger babies are called cubs. Is that right?) I very nearly choked up. I'll have to scan it and upload it later. It was a great end to the day.
