I'm in NY.
I'm paying bills and dealing with sorority stuff while Zach plays Uno Spin in the next room with my 7 year old brother. Joseph is having an excellent time, Z is being polite and, deep down, having a good time, too.
We slept in. It was lovely. It's creepily quiet here. There are no busses or cars or screaming yinzers or any of the other things that makes it easy for the to sleep in pittsburgh. I spent most of the night lying next to Z listening to his breathing and Joseph's snoring. It was peaceful, but i'm exhausted already.
Toby will be here in a bit, driving up from his place to come meet Zach. I'll probably be making some kind of needlessly elaborate meal later this evening.
All in all, i'm glad to be here. I don't think i've ever, while i still lived here or since, been glad to be here.
