pills, booze, and an injury

Littleidiot16: sup, g
lostintheharbour: not much.
Littleidiot16: so, word 'round the knitting circle is you got hit by a bus!!

It's true.
They turned into my bike and sent me sprawling from gutter to sidewalk.
I sprained my knee, bruised, hyper-extended. Whichever. Possibly all three.

Spent some time in ER, on Vicodin, getting pushed in a wheel-chair by some guy with big arms, going "Wheeeeeeee! Dude this is the most exciting thing I've done all day!" Then I'm laying on one of those tables, with the x-ray machine above me, looking all cute and menacing at the same time, like all good machinery does.

Then there was the rest of the week, limping around town, forgetting what I did before I got hit by a bus. Read, read, read, drinking tea and feeling stupid for running a red light, since it prevents me from collecting any cash.

And that night where I went to the bar, had a few drinks, and ran out of money. Only to sell a few pills of Vicodin and go back. It tasted better after recent times of going easy on the sauce consumption. I'm continuing this trend. I'm saving the rest of my pills for recreational usage on Amtrak. It seems that Joe won't be going with me out west, and I do not like the idea of hitching with this bum leg of mine.

Vancouver soon, maybe Portland too.
But I'll be back.
At least for a while.

Final destination: Netherlands. I have to reclaim my Dutch nationality; someday, someway.
