[228] fandom meetups, dean likes to ride, and toilet shopping!
hello lovelies!
i've had an eventful few days lately :D first and foremost, i met up with the fantastic cantarina1 and fishpatrol last wednesday! this was the first time i'd met friends from supernatural fandom, and i was really nervous b/c what if they hated me? what if we didn't get along? what if i made a fool of myself? WHAT IF THEY WERE AXE MURDERERS? ahem. but it was aweeeeeeesomesauce! we hung out at a neat café where you pay a flat fee of $5 and play boardgames for as long as you want. there was an incredible variety of games to choose from, which more than made up for the crappy food :P anyhoodles, we played anti-monopoly, a very entertaining game for an economics major like myself :P i thought it was a lot of fun but fishpatrol would probably disagree 0:) [hey, i only won b/c of that one mailcard that gave me all of cantarina1's indictments, not b/c i was using any real strategies!]
fishpatrol drew fanart on the whiteboard which cantarina1 then accompanied with a one-line fic. before i reveal the complete picture, i'd like you to guess who is between dean's legs:

we also obviously chatted about the latest spn ep, fandom, cons and related topics, and we're planning to hang out again sometime soon. [i just uh, hope they don't hate me now b/c hello, that would be awkward. and saddening].
since then i've stayed over at n's for a few days, and even visited
the bf all the way in h-town, where he's doing his current elective. my pals and i weren't really feeling up to dressing up and hitting the clubs for halloween, so we opted for the halloween haunt at wonderland instead. it was a lot more fun than i thought it would be, even though the various haunted houses weren't actually scary and it was pretty damn cold. still, an entertaining weekend!
AND TODAY I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW TOILET! \0/ my building is running a toilet replacement programme so
ava and i went to home depot, and picked out a toilet that qualifies for the government's water efficiency rebate :D we engaged in a lot of manual labour so we treated ourselves with some mcdonald's after :P [yes, any calories we burnt hoisting heavy ceramic fittings has now been negated, oop! but hey, t'was a yummy meal].
