[184] FANDOM-THEMED PARTIES ARE THE BEST!

hello all! i'm finally home alone after a week, but it feels like i've been away forever. had a wonderful weekend though :D attended a wedding reception, had friends crash over, participated in a FANDOM FOOD PARTY [basically, one of the BEST parties ever], and generally spent a lot of quality time with various groups of friends.

let me tell you about the fandom food party first! it was
ava's brainchild and hosted at her place, and basically, an excuse for a bunch of us to get together, watch episodes and clips from our fave tv shows and movies, and eat foods from said fandoms!

look at our awesome menu:- fish tacos [i love you man]
- lembas bread [lord of the rings]
- dalek cake, fish custard [doctor who]
- epic sandwich [17 again] => made with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, chips, pickle, mayo, nutella
- booze, gummy bears, stripey rainbow candy belts [supernatural]
- chocolate frogs, bertie botts every flavour beans [harry potter] => flavours included: watermelon, pear, fish, vomit-cheese, blueberry, ketchup, pizza, marshmallow, cinnamon, lemon, cranberry-cherry, onion
- ice planets [firefly]
- fried chicken [fringe]
- snickerdoodles [veronica mars]
- cheese and crackers [buffy the vampire slayer]
- peanuts [princess bride]
we also watched clips from i love you man and episodes of fringe, supernatural, doctor who, torchwood, veronica mars, x-files, buffy the vampire slayer, dark angel and sherlock, and sang the entire repertoire from sweeney todd. EPIC WIN! *\0/*

dude, the sherlock finale was BRILLIANT. i can't wait to watch it again! and for those who ask me why i don't ship holmes/watson [even though this wonderful series has numerous shippy nods and moments], it's b/c my holmesian otp will forever be holmes/moriarty. AND WITH GOOD REASON TOO. UNFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. i REALLY hope moffat and gatiss end up making more episodes of the show b/c i can't imagine not seeing this wonderful cast on my screen again!

before i wrap up this post, i present to you: the supernatural s5 gag reel! in which jared says "so i jerk off jensen onto the ground and then give him a shot in the face?" followed by jared and misha both disappearing below jensen's belt while the latter winks at the screen, followed by jensen miming getting a blowjob and then pointing back at misha, followed by jared grabbing misha and trying to kiss him. not to mention the other wonderful scene where misha admits he's got jared's foot in his crotch.
