[037] SUPERNATURAL 5X13: THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME
this ep kinda broke my heart, guys
i dunno yet if i love it or not since i have some complaints, but unghhh. I AM SADFACE NOW.
- i'm anticipating misogyny/womanizer complaints but honestly? that opening dream scene with dean and the angel & demon strippers was FREAKIN' HAWT
- jensen bb looked SO FYYYNE in this ep, nnnnnngggg => especially when the scenes were in that warm tone? unf unf unf unf GUHHH I NEED TO PICPSAM THAT SHIT
- and OOF, that fight between anna and mary => SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT SON, that was ace!
- zomg YOUNG!URIEL OH HOLY CHRIST FIRE BURNIN' HAWTTTTTTT
- AND MICHAEL!JOHN TOO %#$#%^$%
- but moving away from the eye candy back to the plot, i just re-watched "in the beginning" with friends, so seeing young!john and mary so soon after made things even better
- how heartbreaking were the scenes between mary and sam? => the part where he keeps staring at her, and calls her beautiful made me tear up
- the ironic conversation/confession with john made me cry too => god, jared's expressions in that scene were perfect
- and let's not forget the part where dean reveals his identity to mary or where he tells john about sigils ♥
- i liked how john reacted to mary's revelation => he was understandably upset but he didn't just sit around and sulk, he took action and started protecting the place against angels
- speaking of angels, the exchange between dean and anna in the very beginning during the dream sequence was quite amusing
- i liked how she was more psycho/righteous instead of whiny
- i was also extremely happy to see our resident hot wings on my screen again, especially since he was being all gravel-voiced and serious again => i adore naive/lost!cas, but srs bzns warrior!castiel is my fave
- BABY, I NEED TO GIVE YOU SOME CHAPSTICK THOUGH. usually his dry mouth doesn't bother me, but i thought his lips were gonna crack open any second in this ep
- but FUCK. WHY WAS HIS ONLY PURPOSE TO SHOW UP IN THE BEGINNING, TRANSPORT THE BOYS TO THE PAST, AND THEN FUCKING PASS OUT UNTIL THE VERY END?
- as cacklesthewitch so aptly put, WHY IS CAS THE FUCKING DELOREAN IN THIS EP? => if you can't tell yet, that REALLY pissed me off
- also, i'm confused about michael's actions
- so i guess he burnt anna to a crisp and sent uriel wherever b/c he wants things to play out this way? he wants to face lucifer?
- i don't get why he wouldn't also want to get rid of sam like the other angels do..
- or is it all about the whole abel & cain family line thing => it doesn't matter if they kill sam b/c john and mary are meant to make babies together in some way or another, and they'll be vessels no matter what b/c IT WAS ~ORDAINED~ TO BE SO?
- I AM REALLY CONFUSED. PLS HELP ME.
- i reacted to the the "free will is an illusion" part the way i always do when things like that come up => i.e. i got angry on a visceral level lol
- to quote what i said on omg_spn, dumbledore told harry he always had a choice, and morpheus told neo the same thing, and I FUCKING HATE IT WHEN SOMEONE SAYS OTHERWISE, GRRRAAAA D:
- then to end the ep with the ominous "angels are watching over you" line just made me even more depressed

RAVEN SABLE FROM GOOD OMENS I.E. HAVE A WHIPCORD THIN BODY, SHOW UP IN AN IMPECCABLE SUIT IN A SLEEK STREAMLINED CAR AND/OR BONY HORSE. even if that doesn't happen, he's my fave horseman besides death [if i haven't been obvious about it already] so uhh yea, i have some major hopes. DON''T FUCK THIS UP, KRIPKE".
err. i seem to have gone off on a tangent but yes, re: 5x14 - after watching the 2nd webclip, i don't think famine's joining us just yet, and i doubt that's sam drinking demon blood. i see other people with bloody mouths. MAYBE THEY'VE ALL FALLEN IN LOVE WITH LONG PIG. also, does dean really ask sam if he'll be his valentine? roflrofl i hope so!
