Is anyone interested in reading my YA novel? It needs plenty of fixing--for instance, I think it'd be better as a quartet instead of a trilogy, with the one I have written broken into two different books and extended. But before I completely tear it apart yet again, I think it'd be nice to have extra feedback and areas to fix so I can try to do most of the edits at once. I am so bad at making big edits mid-story because when my flow is interrupted, I have trouble tying it together again.
Here is the work-in-progress synopsis for the entire series (not just book one):
Deals with the devil are always tricky, especially when you don’t even know someone sold your soul away.
Faye Wulfgaar has always believed her bad luck must be the worst in history. It isn't until she meets Quentin Sage, a boy in tune with the spirit world, that they figure out she doesn't have bad luck--she's cursed.
Meanwhile, something sinister is prowling the woods around her house, attacking young women, and two likely suspects arise. One happens to be the boy trying to date her, while the other claims to know more about her past than she does herself.
The only way to keep herself and everyone else safe is to find out the truth...even if that means harnessing her inner darkness.
Because here, what you don't know will hurt you.
I have to do some quick fixes so that I'm not completely embarrassed and ashamed to let people read it, but beginning chapters are ready to go.
Series title is tentatively Out of Love, but individual book titles are not yet chosen. (The Other Side can be used for referencing purposes.)
