Mother sent a handful of seashells to me by courier with a note that she collected them herself when she went fishing with Grandfather last week. A few of the shells reflect light nicely like tiny silver mirrors. As a token of my appreciation for the gift, I was planning to make her a pair of earrings with two of the more stunning shells. The remaining shells could be used for much the same purpose.
Grandfather also enclosed a brief note inquiring into when I would be returning for the New Year. It would appear that they have found their first potential match, after only two months have passed. They may be more serious in this endeavor than I initially understood.
